We have to take responsibility for our own actions. I told my son to drop what he has and come on. So he does, when I have to run into his room I almost trip over his shoes…….After a screaming match , which I soon apologized for, He said” You told me to drop everything. So I apologized to my son. I showed him there are many ways to show you are a man. Same
day over my friends house, He is enraged, fuming over his kid deleting
the information on his PDA. Where was it I said . It was right on the
coffee table $@#$ then I found it in his room #$%^. I said How old is
he,” He is three HE SHOULD KNOW BETTER!! I snickered, then to
a slow laugh…know better ( snicker) After we busted out laughing
I explained the theory of how bright , shiny electronics mean TOY, everything
you hold dear means TOY, the world is a toy. We go through our homes
everyday and check safety issues. We also need to do our own safety
sweep. If it is more than 10. put it up high or it will be destroyed.
And when we break this rule we must realize that it is our fault and
the one that should be in time out is US. We teach them to take responsibility
for their actions , we must take responsibility for our own. Check yourself
! Before you blame…..then apologize if you have to.
